Strontian   

The Strontian site is located in the village centre behind the shop, to the right of the caravan site and is managed The Sunart Community Compost Group. It is run along the same lines as the Acharacle site as a weekly collection service.   

The Strontian site has experienced problems with The New Zealand Flatworm. This means that they haven't been able to put compost back out to the community. To try and resolve this situation they plan to erect a greenhouse to "cook" and kill the flatworm. They plan to have this project up and working by the mid summer.
