For those who are interested to look in detail, the minutes of the Zero Waste Think Tank are available on the website.  This was set up in 2008 to look at new options for how to get to grips with waste.

 

The Waste Resources Action Programme was established recently to tackle problems that have slowed action on recycling.  They established an industry standard for compost to encourage sales and their website contains a wealth of data on all topics:
