Kinlochleven 

Recycling is not easy in rural Scotland because of the distances involved but green waste can be dealt with close to home. In 1999 LEG helped Kinlochleven establish the first village compost site in Lochaber. 

The sucess of this project encouraged others and LEG was able to open sites in other villages. 

Kinlochleven is an open site so it is  important to sort and leave your garden waste material into the correct holding bins.
